Jesus is Better than Santa

Santa lives at the North Pole. JESUS is everywhere.
Santa rides in a sleigh
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.
Santa comes but once a year
JESUS is an ever present help.
Santa fills your stockings with goodies
JESUS supplies all your needs.
Santa comes down your chimney uninvited
JESUS stands at your door and knocks.. and then enters your heart.
You have to stand in line to see Santa
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.
Santa lets you sit on his lap
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.
Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?"
JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.
Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly
JESUS has a heart full of love.
All Santa can offer is HO HO HO
JESUS offers health, help and hope.
Santa says "You better not cry"
JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you..
Santa's little helpers make toys
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.
Santa may make you chuckle but
JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.
While Santa puts gifts under your tree
JESUS became our gift and died on the Cross.
It's obvious there is really no comparison.
We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.
We need to put Christ back in Christmas.
Jesus is still the reason for the season.

2 Corinthians 9:8, "God is able to ALL GRACE abounds to YOU, so that in ALL THINGS at ALL TIME, having ALL THAT YOU NEED, YOU will abound in EVERY GOOD WORKS"

My friend sent this to my email. And it did clear my mind of all the luxurious appearance of Christmas - Santa Claus, Christmas tree, presents, and SHOPPING...

Let's go back to His love!

Ephesian 3:17-19 - That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,  May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

UEC Christmas Party

So, the Teachers Christmas Party came! It was a crazy nite though not all teachers came. We had it at-none other than Sang Woo paradise! We had famous chicken BBQ and Sang Woo for the nite. It started with a game by Ms Merry and exchange gifts. Not many teachers dared to open the gifts, neither did I, only Ms Marlina and Ms Kevin did open their gifts on the spot. Salute them!

So Blessed from UEC

I feel so blessed at UEC, not from the prizes that I received but from the acknowledgement. I feel so thankful that I was recognized for my hard work. Thanks Lord, May You bless them too!

Blessed Mother Day

Mom, luv you. May God bless you always...

No More Ubud!

It started with empty stomachs of my mom's and mine. We searched for good food in Sun Plaza. Without any good reason, we picked Ubud since we wanted sth spicy. It was nice at first with its Christmas tree. Then, a discourteous waiter came and served us. We ordered our meal, Balinese Fried Rice for me and Indonesian Noodle for mom. Then another waiter passed us and brought satay to another guest. It smelled good. So, we ordered a portion too. The fried rice was not bad, but the noodle was too salty. Finally, the Chicken Satay was on our table. We enjoyed it at first, and we claimed as the best food for our meal. The story doesn't end there, mom found that her satay was not well cooked! Since the room was dim-lit, we checked one by one carefully. We found out that half portion of satay were not well cooked! We asked the manager to look at the satay, he admitted that they were not well cooked. He then asked other waiters to prepare some fruits to wash our mouth! He served us with the fruits and took the satay out from our table, and not the other plates! He wanted to leave no evidence on the spot. Too bad I've taken pictures though you can't really see the raw meat. We got 20% discount for the meal though. So guys, be careful with the satay! For mom and I: NO MORE UBUD!

(See the red color on the satay? It was blood)

Holiday is in the House!!!

First day of holiday! Can you imagine that?!? There's no other place like home to be lazying at. After a day of massive screwness, freeing self from any activity, including bathing :P, is a perfect schedule for the day.

I have a lot to write about a hectic Christmas party yesterday, but I have no picture to post, so I decide to write another post when I got the pictures or even the video!

Happy holiday! :)

My Dream House

In visual, my dream house would be like the picture beside. I took it from "Gardiner Country House". I like to live in a wooden house, I don't know why, but it's gonna be a new experience for me since I've lived in stoned house for years. I like to have a fireplace, though I know that Indonesia is hot enough.

I prefer a small house so that easy to clean and connect to each of family members. Small enough for my big family to come over to have party or sleepover. I like to have big garden in my house so that my children can play and we can have some activities outside. I would like to have a small pond with fish as well.

I like to have two-story house utmost. On the first floor, there would be a spacious, homey living room when you enter from the front door. In that big living room, there would be two sets of sofas, one from more formal business at the right-hand side and another is more like friendly living room with toys and many books at the left-hand side. Family can hang around here. A medium-sized mud room will be next to it. Going deeper, there would be restroom, and big opened kitchen with big dining table. There will be side door connected to garden as well.

On the second floor, mainly there will be only four bedrooms, and small family room with small library and a nice coach to sit on to read books and a small home theatre. Each bedroom should have its own balcony and bathroom too.

Ah~ Can't wait to live in it

It's a Long Week!

This definitely is a busy week. It started with calm Monday though. When I was teaching in my class, my phone rang. It was from CK asked me to come over and have an observation. I thought it'd be a good idea. And it showed a good response from them, after a week no call from them since the first interview. When she said 'observation', I thought I am going to observe children's behavior in the class. I was wrong! In the afternoon, when I was having my sweet nap, Ms Rita called me and said that I am the ONE who was going to be observed! Gosh! She asked me to plan out what I wanna teach to 5-6 years old children on Wednesday.

I was panicked, not knowing what topic I should teach. I decided teaching on some words related to Christmas though since the Christmas season is here. Busy planning it on Monday night. I took some ideas from my previous teaching experience. Now, I wanna thank to Mr James!

Tuesday morning was busy with classes, afternoon was busy with buying materials for the class, Evening was busy with classes, night was busy making garland and preparing for the flash cards.

Wednesday morning was busy with classes, afternoon came! An upset incident happened, my driver was late from his lunch! I was almost late from the observation! Thanks to mom found the another key so that I could go to CK by myself. The observation was good, I guess. Wednesday night was my break. I needed it!

Thursday morning was busy with classes again, afternoon was busy writing students' reports, Thursday night was busy writing out the lesson plan.

Friday morning was busy with classes. Now here I am free and enjoying my day blogging. How I am thankful for this Friday!

Looking back I am thankful for God's strength and wisdom that He poured out for me. I believe that I could not do all without His guidance. Thanks Lord!
